A Barber’s Story of Service

A Barber’s Story of Service

Josh Wagner is a hairstylist, barber, and educator for our Seb Man grooming line. He also founded a non-profit called, Barbers Without Borders, with Spanky the Barber. These two wanted to educate their community about men’s physical and mental health, so they held a 4-hour cut-a-thon called “CUTS FOR NUTS” in the Greater Cincinnati area to raise awareness and money for the Movember Foundation.
The Movember Foundation is more than encouraging men to grow facial hair for a month. By 2030, Movember’s goal is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%. They have been the leading charity changing the face of men’s health since the foundation began in Australia in 2003. Now Movember is a global movement inspiring support from over 5 million Mo Bros and Mo Sisters around the world, this year Seb Man is proud to be a sponsor for their cause.
Josh and Spanky pulled their event together in just two weeks. Josh said, “In four hours, we had raised about one thousand dollars, our community really rallied behind “CUTS FOR NUTS”. It was a walk-in event held at Spanky’s Barber Shop and 100% donations were given to the Movember Foundation in support of the work they are doing for men. I hope every salon and barbershop does this.”
