Holiday Season styling already in full swing? Watch the full tutorial below from Wellastore.com’s Ambassador, Cassandra Foehr to learn how to recreate this fun holiday look guaranteed to turn heads.
Step by Step
- Cassandra prepped the hair with the ColorMotion+ haircare regimen, then blew out her client with a round brush and some EIMI Body Crafter to prep for an extra boost of volume.
- Section the hair at the natural part, and into front and back quadrants just behind the ear to the Apex.
- Starting in the back section, take 1-2 inch horizontal sections and wrap the length of the hair along the curling wand or iron. Lightly spray each section with Thermal Image for heat protection and shine. Follow this pattern all the up the back panel to ensure the waves flow in the same direction.
- As you transition to the front panels, begin curling away from the face on both sides.
- Locate a small subsection just behind the ear on both sides of the head, and braid that subsection using a little bit of Flowing Form for control. Expand the braid by lightly pulling each of them apart to add extra texture to your end look.
- Gently mist the remaining hair with EIMI Oil spritz and comb through the hair, allowing the waves to naturally fall. Adding an extra spray of Oil Spritz will also help control those pesky flyaways.
- Wrap the braids along the Apex and pin in place, creating a band between the front and back panels. Designer pins and fun details to help dress up your look even further.
- Finish with EIMI Oil Spritz, Glam Mist or Stay Firm, depending on the level of hold or shine that your client needs.
