Tips to Achieve 4 Levels of Lift
Low and slow! Have you ever heard this advice when working with lightener? This is how Top Artist, Aubrey Loots, completes 4+ levels of lift, while respecting the integrity of his clients hair.
To start, his formula is 30g Blondor + 45g 20vol Welloxon developer + 6g of WellaPlex.
- Always measure and weigh your lightener.
- Do not raise or increase your developer when adding WellaPlex. Formulate your lightener as you would and then add WellaPlex.
- Increase to 30volume, only when appropriate, like your last bowl of color or stubborn underlying pigment.
- Do not choose your toner until, the lightener is processed and rinsed and you can assess what you need to tone.
- Never, ever use heat on lightener. You will be defeating the purpose of using WellaPlex and the low and slow approach.
