What do you love about the professional beauty industry?
I love that the pro beauty industry has unlocked the opportunity for so many women to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams. Furthermore, Beauty Salons and beauty professionals have played and continue to play a critical role in the black community, this interconnected relationship also drives my love and passion for the professional beauty industry.
What is the most meaningful part of your role?
The ability to influence the design of products that are accessible to beauty professionals and beauty lovers.
What is a fun fact about you?
I’m an adrenaline junkie. Whether it is bungee jumping, skydiving, or speed car racing, my moment of serenity occurs when fear turns into anticipation and then excitement.
Who is someone that inspires you most?
I’m inspired by so many people, but two women that I constantly inspire me are Nina Simone and Angela Davis.
