Just as women are showing their roots more, our male clientele is readily experimenting with facial hair in 2020. On top of that, November is used to raise awareness for men’s health, a time where men all over the world grow out their facial hair for @movember. If your clients have never grown facial hair, below are some tips to help them have the most comfortable and well-maintained facial hair possible!

art Clean – Prepare the face and neck by shaving completely to start with a clean slate. This will help promote even hair growth and make the grow-out phase more comfortable. Use a hot towel, new blades, and shave slowly.
2. Maintenance- Some men grow facial hair quickly, but on average it takes about three months to grow a full beard. Clean up the cheek and necklines to keep the beard maintained during the grow-out phase.
3. Products – Facial hair does require maintenance and products to avoid itching or even smelling. No matter how long the beard, keep it clean to keep it looking and feeling great.
4. Irritation Prevention – During the first weeks, start using shampoo and conditioner on the face. The shampoo will get rid of buildup and the conditioner will soften the hair. Finish with aftershave to keep hair and skin healthy. As the facial hair gets longer, using beard oil will keep it moisturized.
