Wavy, curly, and coily are NOT interchangeable. In fact, each describes a unique curl pattern. Recognizing each can be the difference between giving your clients a superb service and product recommendations versus totally falling flat. Remember, curls are delicate, be sure to get the color history from your client during their consultation and ALWAYS strand test. #PROTip: Dry cutting curly hair makes it easier to properly define your client’s shape. After seeing their natural shrinkage, you can determine how much and where you need to cut so each gorgeous coil lays where it should. Not sure whether to cut dry or wet on your new client?
