The Shimmer Melt Glaze created by Patricia Nikole @PaintedHair is the perfect salon professional color service to achieve modern painted hair looks on any level of hair. This service was designed to create a gradient and dimensional melting effect with a seamless blend! Hand painted lightened areas are created with surface painting to preserve dimension. SHINEFINITY SHIMMER MELT GLAZE STEP-BY-STEP

PAINT

Step 1: Section the hair from ear to ear. Work in horizontal sections leaving a small triangle for the face frame

Step 2: Freehand: 40g BLONDOR FREELIGHTS + 60g FREELIGHTS Developer

Paint starting from the nape. Take 1-inch horizontal sections and slightly tease the hair to diffuse the lightener. Teasing is important to create distance from the base and the mid-length. Keep the hair slightly elevated while painting freehand away from the roots.

Top Tip: the aim is to surface paint not saturate as you want to preserve dimension

Step 3: As you move higher up with your sections, blend your lightener closer to the roots

Step 4: In the front triangle start 1/2″ away from the roots; move closer to the roots nearer the face

Development Time: Up to 50 Mins

MELT

Step 1: Rinse and remove the lightener, and finish with Blondor Seal & Care after the full development time

Step 2: SHINEFINITY Root Glaze: 60g 04/07 Bitter Chocolate + 60g brush & bowl activator

Apply your darkest glaze throughout your root area. Only glaze the root near the face for extra lightness.

Step 3: SHINEFINITY Ends Glaze: 60g 08/38 Honey Latte + 60g bottle activator

Apply the lighter glaze through your mid-lengths and ends. Using a bottle application will speed up your service!

Top Tip: TO FURTHER BLEND the glaze and create seamless transitions, comb each section as you go.

Development time: 20 Mins
