Our team was hard at work, day and night, getting hair prepped from pitstop to podium, with even actress Nina Dobrev turning up for unstoppable looks. And it wasn’t long before F1 Academy talent Joanne Ciconte swapped the driver’s seat for our salon chairs, asking for helmet-proof curls that stay smooth and silky under pressure.

How to Get Joanne Ciconte’s Revved-Up Curls: Step by Step
Step 1: Protect and Perfect
