What do you love about the pro beauty industry?
The diversity amongst the talented people, and now the opportunity to collaborate online.
What is the most meaningful part of your role as a female artist in beauty?
The creative expressions and leadership role I play with young artists trying to break through and get recognition. Taking risks especially when training all male teams in Turkey, China, and India has enabled me to become strong with my male counterparts.
What is your favorite Wella, Nioxin, OPI, Clairol, Color Charm, Kadus or Sebastian product and why?
Re-Shaper Hairspray because when you’re on set at a photo shoot or at a show and need to define or refine the finished style you can do it in an instant. Even behind the chair at a salon, you can expect fab results.
Do you have any advice for female stylists trying to grow their career?
Post, post, post! In this day and age, it’s all about social media, as much as I now realize travel is less, so the internet is your oyster. Find a brand that you can relate to follow and support through product usage and share your stories of success.
