Base-Breaking With Illumina
Base breaking is a great option when you want to quickly lighten the roots without having to use lightener. When used after foiling it can help create an overall lighter look by using this express service. We love how Field Signature Artist, Jennifer Ng used Illumina Color to break the base and create a cool tone after highlighting.

PROTIP: 15 minutes is the sweet spot for timing when you are looking for a very soft base break for a blonde. Break it down to 10 minutes for the root to process and then apply to the midshaft through the ends for the additional 5 minutes. Rinse it all out at once.
