What do you love about the pro beauty industry?
I love the camaraderie. We were all given the gift of our craft by those who came before us, and we all share the rights and responsibilities that go along with that gift, including paying it forward to those who come after us. It’s a beautiful cycle of love and art that you can’t really understand until you’re in it, but once you’re in, you’re one of us for life.
What is the most meaningful part of your role?
It’s an absolute privilege to be able to connect with other stylists over our shared passion. The most meaningful moments are those little flashbulb instants where they realize I am gaining as much from them as they are from me.
What is fun fact about you?
When I travel it’s mostly about the food, so I have eaten my way across the Southern US, the Caribbean, and parts of Europe, alone! Not having to worry about another person is a very liberating way to see the world and enjoy new cuisine!
What is your favorite Wella, Nioxin, OPI, ghd, Clairol, Color Charm, Kadus or Sebastian Product and why?
There are far too many amazing products to choose my absolute favourite, but my favourite right now is the new Sebastian No Breaker. It makes my hair feel smooth, healthy, and strong, just like me!
