Stylist @thejennshin and owner of Jenn Shin Studios in Rockville, Maryland creates a beautiful Color Melt with some of her favorites from Wella Professionals. To start, Jen adds dimension and brightens her client’s preexisting blonde with BlondorPlex Multi Blonde Dust-Free Powder Lightener and Welloxon Perfect Crème Developer 20 Volume (6%) using a geometric foiliage pattern. She then added some lowlights with Koleston Perfect and Welloxon Perfect Crème Developer 10 Volume (3%) to create natural depth. After lightening, she applied WellaPlex No. 2 Bond Stabilizer to further strengthen the hair and rebalance the hair’s pH. Using Koleston Perfect and Welloxon Perfect Crème Developer 20 Volume (6%), Jen then covered her client’s gray regrowth. She mixed a special Koleston Perfect formula with Welloxon Perfect Crème Developer 10 Volume (3%) for the mid-lengths and ends. For clients that receive highlights, Jen recommends the FUSIONPLEX care line, explaining that this line is incredible for hair that may be dry or damaged.
