HOW TO RECREATE
LIGHTENING

Starting at the nape, take medium sized zig-zag sections and tease out the roots.
Apply the lightener just below the teasing.
Tip Out: Add brightness to the mid-lengths and ends, while maintaining depth at the roots. Take the hair in between highlighting papers, tease mid-way down, and lighten at the ends.
FACE FRAMING
Take fine zig-zag sections at the front to add lightness around the face.
Tip: Varying the size of the zig-zags helps to create a connection between the interlocking sections.
ROOT SHADOW & BLONDE TONING

Tone the roots with the darker formula first. Allow to develop for 5 minutes before combing down for a seamless transition. Apply the lighter toning formula to the ends and to the face frame, and visually watch for up to 15 minutes.
